The People & Culture Coordinator is the backbone of the People & Culture (P&C) Department. This position will assist with many P&C projects and programs, but will mainly own the onboarding of new staff, enter employee information into the company HRIS system and help implement projects and programs in partnership with the P&C team. This role will provide superior internal and external customer service and requires an individual who can thrive in a fast paced and constantly changing environment.  This role is the first P&C contact for our newest employees; therefore, we’re looking for someone polished, professional, fun and approachable.  

What You’ll Do
  • Supports the onboarding process, including hosting New Hire Orientation; creates and processes all necessary new hire documents, such as I-9 forms and e-verify, creates new hire folders, etc. and enters new hire information into the HRIS database (UltiPro).
  • Regularly updates New Hire Orientation deck to represent the latest and greatest of Funko.
  • Sends out onboarding and exit surveys, providing data back to the People and Culture team. 
  • Follows up with new hires to ensure enrollment in benefit programs. 
  • Responsible for all data entry for new hires, promotions, terminations and any other employee changes into the HRIS database (UltiPro); coordinates with Payroll as necessary to ensure changes are correctly processed.
  • Supports leaves of absence, status changes, terminations in HRIS system, also assists with data entry processes in partnership with P&C Operations team.
  • Owns employee and HR files. Scans and files all relevant HR documents into online files. Ensures employee files are accurate, up to date and that HR documents are easily found online.
  • Processes vendor invoicing.
  • Responsible for onsite duties such as mail distribution for the P&C team.
  • Will update P&C Intranet with relevant changes.
  • Assists with internal and external HR audits and compliance, including AAP and EEO-1 reporting. 
  • Ensures labor law poster updates are sent to locations.
  • Assists with Wellness initiatives as necessary.
  • Supports Recruitment through candidate interview scheduling  other duties.
  • Provide general support on special P&C related projects.

What You’ll Bring
  • 1+ years’ HR experience, or equivalent
  • Must have a history of reliable and accurate data entry; data integrity and data pride are expected.
  • Mastery of detail and the ability to think through processes from start to finish.
  • Has a customer service approach to all requests, which includes on time responses, great follow-up and polished grammar.
  • Must be articulate and comfortable presenting information to small and large groups.
  • Able to manage priorities in a fast paced and changing environment a must.
  • Experience working with HRIS and ATS software is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information. 
  • High level of integrity, transparency and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
  • Collaborative team player: willingness to pitch in as needed.
  • Desire to make a difference and have fun.
  • Basic understanding of labor laws and interest in keeping up on trends and updates in HR. 
  • Good PowerPoint, Word, and Excel skills required, Visio a plus.
 
Salary Information
The base range for this position in the selected city is $27.69-$28.85 hourly.​ Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Work Environment 
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Salary Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $27-28 Hourly. ​Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
This position is based in Everett, WA.
